Falling Rupee
In October, the Indian rupee fell to 82.83 against the US dollar. It seems that the Modi government and the depreciating rupee are in a race to lower their values?
Mr. Prime Minister, for how long will you keep hiding behind the Corona-Russia-Ukraine war? Before you were elected as prime minister in 2014, the rupee was valued 58 to the US dollar and you termed it as a “India in crisis”. Now when it is beyond 80 you calling it “Amritkaal”? Wahh Modi ji Wahh!
Prior to 2014, you misrepresented the need for a "strong PM" to support the strengthening of the rupee. This has turned out to be really poisonous and bad for the currency. Every Indian is being impacted by your apathy and silence over the currency's wild slide. The economy is in crisis, employment is declining, people's incomes are declining, inflation is rising, the cost of basic necessities like fuel and food is rising, imports of goods ranging from crude oil to electronic goods are rising, and also international education and travel have become more expensive.
Congratulations Modiji, You have accomplished what India couldn’t for 75 years! The rupee became the worst it has ever been under this so-called strong PM. #CongressForChange #CongessFor India #BharatJodoYatra
